✈️ Travels

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.

There is no right way to travel. — The beauty about travelling is that there is no right way to travel. We could go up North or go down South, go far East or go deep West. We could go in roundabouts, follow zigzag-y paths or trudge along unapologetic linear routes. We could survive the night in a campsite, at a friend’s humble abode, in a hostel or even in a travelling train carriage if we so please.

Travel makes one modest and tends to magnify all human emotions. — The beauty about travelling is that we see what a teeny weeny place we occupy in this great, magnificent world. It makes us feel minuscule as we plunge into experiences much larger than ourselves, much larger than our stiff necks, aching legs or weary steps. I remember the first time I saw the Milky Way in Australia. I was a 5-year-old standing in the middle of my garden in Perth with a shovel in my right hand, snails crawling up my left, boots to cover my feet, green-pink overalls to do justice to garden fashion and eyes that looked up into the sparkling sky. While gawking at the stars, gratitude – and strangely, unworth – surged my being. It was a very special moment.

Travelling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller. – Ibn Battuta

I currently live in Munich, Germany, and living at some place doesn’t discount the adventures which one could possibly experience there. The following aren’t considered “travels” per se, but they are adventures worth sharing nonetheless. Perhaps they’d help You with Your trip’s itinerary if You ever plan on dropping by and saying hello to this beautiful Bavarian city.
