Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever. — Unknown
One of my favourite Mothers’ Day quotes if You ask me.
Yesterday, I passed by a florist and saw a beautiful garland of roses hanging right by the entrance. Red rose, orange rose, white rose, orange rose, red rose, orange rose, white rose… and it went on and on to create a statement piece of incredibly warm hues. The orange rose looked exactly like the one that nestled comfortably in the middle of the Mothers’ Day bouquet I gave Mama a week ago.
We searched the hotel room frantically for a vase or at least something that could perform the function of a vase! We ended up settling for a glass we found in the bathroom… Well, what works, right?
So shall it stay put, a smile eternally stained upon her lips.
